The Thought that Never Leaves

There are some things in life that arrive quietly, without warning.

A melody you weren’t expecting to hear but suddenly hum along to.

A scent that lingers long after its source has disappeared.

A ripple in still water that never fully fades, just stretches further, further—until it becomes part of the current itself.

Some things do not visit; they take root.

They settle in, unnoticed at first, until one day you realize—

they have woven themselves into the fabric of your being.

Not in a way that demands attention,

but in a way that becomes the very rhythm of your thoughts.

A presence, not an echo.

A knowing, not a memory.

If you asked me how many times a certain thought has crossed my mind,

I could not give you a number.

I could only tell you this:

It came Once. And Never Left
