In the quiet moments of reflection, I often find myself pondering a profound question: “Do you know what your human experience represents in your life?” This question has accompanied me through the various stages of my journey, offering me both comfort and curiosity as I navigate the complexities of existence.
“Life is like riding a bike. To keep your balance, you must keep moving”.

My Journey
I am the daughter of immigrant parents, who came to this country with hopes and dreams that seemed both daunting and inspiring. Their resilience and determination to build a better life for their children instilled in me a deep sense of gratitude and responsibility. Growing up, I witnessed their struggles and triumphs, and these experiences shaped my understanding of perseverance and sacrifice.
As a mother of four sons, my life became a tapestry woven with love, challenges, and endless learning. Motherhood taught me the power of unconditional love and the importance of nurturing not only my children but also myself. Each day presented new lessons and reminded me of the preciousness of time and the significance of being present.
My journey took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Surviving this battle became a defining chapter in my life, one that tested my strength, faith, and resilience. Through the darkest moments, I discovered an inner fortitude I never knew I possessed. This experience forced me to confront my mortality and prompted me to seek deeper meaning and purpose in my life.
Reflecting on these pivotal moments, I realize that my human experience is a mosaic of resilience, love, and growth. Each phase of my life has contributed to a broader understanding of who I am and what I represent in this world. My parent’s sacrifices taught me the value of hard work and the importance of honoring one’s roots. Motherhood showed me the transformative power of love and the joy found in raising the next generation. Surviving cancer illuminated the fragility of life and the imperative to live each day with intention and gratitude.
